Need to Contact the WCD?

From April 1-July 31, a small crew will still occupy the former WCD offices at 58 Loop Street during the transition period to set up the independent Dams & Development Unit chartered by the WCD Forum.

Jeremy Bird will lead this new transition unit through August, taking over the reins from Secretary-General Achim Steiner, who will be departing Cape Town in May to lead IUCN ­ The World Conservation Union, as its new Director-General. From August 1 onward the new DDU will be hosted by the UNEP in a location yet to be determined.
